TV SPOT LAYOUT

TV spots in romantic comedies usually dont reveal too much of the storyline as their main purpose is to quickly grab the audiences attention and create intrigue rather than fully explain the narrative. 

For my TV spot I want to follow this convention by showing both characters getting ready, using this as a way to introduce their contrasting personalities through differences in their routines. 

This is so the audience can immediately understand the dynamic between them and be interested in their development. Towards the end of the TV spot I want to include a fast paced sequence of clips showing different moments in their relationship such as them arguing, getting along as friends and subtly flirting. 

This will hopefully create a sense of confusion for the audience, making the relationship seem unpredictable and interesting. this should encourage the audience to want to watch the film to understand how their relationship actually develops while still keeping the tone light, playful and true to the rom com genre.
